Contradiction
The hook
The part that should not fit is the part you cannot stop watching.
A true story in four moves
THE ACTUAL PRODUCT IS THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE.
A life becomes a scene. The scene opens a question. Books, films, songs, conversations and experiments by Shania Perrett. Each gives you a different way into the experience.
Shania Perrett / BAD EXAMPLEAct 01 / Misdirection
That is the first move. Tap the label and watch what was hiding underneath it.
Built for a larger life.
Impossible to own.
No longer negotiating with other people’s comfort.
Permission—with receipts.
Act 02 / The turn

“I don’t sell answers. I design questions you can experience.”
BAD EXAMPLE began before it had a name. I spent twelve years online, filming pieces of my life before I understood they were evidence. The camera saw what memory blurred: the contradictions, the decisions and every version of me that refused to disappear.
I was praised for the parts people could consume and judged for the parts they could not control. Every time I made myself easier to hold, I became harder to recognise. When I stopped shrinking, the label arrived.
So I kept the label and changed its job. BAD EXAMPLE is where I take the scene they judged, run the experiment and show what actually happened. Not polished advice after the fact. The real life, the choice, the cost and the result.
I do not sell perfection. I sell the moment a meaning flips.
The operating system
Entertaining first. Useful second. The lesson only lands after the audience has felt the scene turn.
The hook
The part that should not fit is the part you cannot stop watching.
The plot
I test the idea in real life. Theory has to survive contact.
The energy
I act before the room has permission to understand.
The payoff
The result decides the meaning. Not the label.
